The “From UU to OO” deck of cards is a creative tool that combines TEK17 with good practice from today's construction industry. Through idea generation and exploration, the cards help to exploit the space of opportunity that lies in universal design, and contribute to creating inclusive and accessible buildings and places.

Each card takes the accessibility-related regulations in TEK17 as its starting point and translates them into creative exercises. The cards can be used to brainstorm innovative accessibility solutions, as a tool to open perspectives related to specific accessibility issues, or as an evaluation tool for buildings on a more holistic and value-oriented level.

The cards are designed and crafted by Comte Bureau in collaboration with Aspelin Ramm, with support from DOGA. The content of the cards is designed based on qualitative interviews with professional and research communities at Norwegian architectural offices and institutions.
